Cattle Sale / Birthday Party/ Halloween Party

The theme of the past few weeks is really busy Saturdays!  It held true for this past one as well.  We sold cattle on Saturday.  Marilyn fixed breakfast for everyone before the round up crew headed out to gather and ship out.  I didn't make out to take pictures this year of the round up and loading of the steers.  Whitney had a cough and it was plenty cool out so we stayed in where it was nice and warm!  Maybe next year I will do better!

Saturday evening Marilyn fixed supper for everyone to celebrate how the cattle sold and celebrate Trey's birthday.  After we ate, I left the birthday party to go to my cousin, Heather's Halloween party.  She really out does herself every year and host a nice party.  My Mom, Sister and all my Dad's sister were there and I had a nice visit with them all.

Sunday was nice & relaxing.  We needed that after a busy day on Saturday!

Barrel Racing and a Wedding

We had a really busy weekend  Saturday our good friends son got married. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful wedding.  There were lots of Chambers people there, so it was fun to catch up and visit with many of them. 

 

Aubree was entered in a barrel racing in Broken Bow with Hope for the weekend.  Chip and Marilyn took her out on Saturday afternoon and she stayed at Kyle's Aunt Amy's house with Hope on Saturday night.  She told Hope "This is a really nice place to vacation!"  Guess life without her parents and sisters is a real treat!!

 

Sunday Kyle, Jenae, Whitney, Trey & me made a the trip to Broken Bow to watch Aubree & Hope.  It was cute to watch Aubree run.  She was pretty excited to be a part of it.

Sunday :-) Fun Day :-)

We had a really a fun day on Sunday.  We went to church and then had a picnic in the park.  From the park we went out to Lambert's Pumpkin patch.  The girls look so forward to making a trip out to the pumpkin patch!  I wish we had more Sunday's like this :)

Whitney Turns 2!!!

My Baby is not a baby anymore!! Whitney is officially a 2 year old!  Since her birthday was during the Mid-States Finals we celebrated last weekend with Kyle's family.  It was nice to have everyone over for supper.  The kids had lots of fun playing together.

Mid-States Finals

Two weekends ago was the Mid States Finals in Lincoln.  We kept busy the whole time.  Saturday was our only free day so we took the girls to the Fort.  They each had about $50 to spend of their own money and had a blast.  Then we took them to walk around the University.  Kyle had a great time looking around and showing the girls the campus.  I only took East Campus classes when I went to school at Lincoln  so I do not have near as many memories from City Campus.  His plan was to take them to Morriall, we were not sure if it would be open or not, but it was & the girls loved it!!  Well, all but Whitney.  Taking a 2 year old to a museum is not maybe the best idea ;-)  Of all times I forgot my camera and my phone in the trailer.  Kyle snapped a few pictures on his phone, but the camera on that phone is not the best. After we were done at Morriall Hall we drove over to East Campus and went to eat at Kyle favorite place in Lincoln to eat, Valentinos. 

 

The rodeo went really well for Kyle he placed in all 3 events.  Won the calf roping average & was the reserve all around for the association.
