Well Christmas and New Years is officially over! Back to the real world now. The week from Christmas to New Years was really busy, but we had a really good time. We started our celebration on Christmas Eve Day. Santa came a day earily so we could enjoy the morning. Jenae is sure he came early since she was so good last year. We had a nice relaxing day at home. That evening we went to Kyle's Parents house for a delicious Christmas Eve dinner. We opened presents. The girls were thrilled with their gifts. We woke up Christmas morning and headed to Newman Grove to have Christmas at My Grandma Forre's house. It was a fun day. The house was very active. A LOT of little ones running around :-) I had to work the day after Christmas so we headed back home Christmas afternoon. That night we settled in and watched True Grit. It was a very relaxing Christmas night, it is hard to beat a good John Wayne movie. Jenae loves westerns and Aubree likes to watch anything on tv that involves horses. Sunday the 28th we had Christmas at Kyle's sisters house with Kyle's Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. We had a really good time. It is always fun to get together. We hardly saw Jenae that day. She was off playing with Bryan and Reece(Kyle's cousins kids) most of the day. New Years Eve we spent at my sister Danielle's house. We played games and just hung out. We also learned that our family is growing some more. Dusty and his wife Erin are expecting there 2nd baby and Lacey and her husband Jacque are expecting there first baby. Next summer my parents will have 8 grandchildren ages 5 and under!!! What fun! We finished off our Holiday week at my parents house for dinner on New Years Day. The week was just awesome. I enjoyed every minute of it. At the same time I am happy to be back to a normal routine...what ever normal is for us ;-)

The presents are all wrapped and under the tree, the baking is all complete, and we are all anxiously awaiting for the holidays to arrive. Happy Holidays to everyone! It is crazy to think Christmas is less than 10 days away. I am feeling pretty good about where I am at with my preparation for Christmas. I still want to do a little more baking but other than that I am pretty well set.

Jenae is very excited about Christmas. For her it can not get here soon enough! Every night since Thanksgiving she asks me "is tonight the night that Santa is going to come?"

Aubree is busy just being Aubree. She keeps herself very entertained with her babies. She lines up all her dolls on the floor and and feeds them.

I will post more pictures soon!

We made it back from Louisville. We had a great time! The trip was a little tough on Aubree, but she survived. It was about a 16 hour trip home. Both girls were happy to get home and play with there toys. Kyle did well in Louisville. He ended up 2nd in the average in the bronc riding and 3rd in the average in the steer wrestling.

Hello From Louisville KY!
I had some free time at the hotel so I thought I would enter into the blogging world! We are having a great time down here. Kyle did well in his first round of circuit finals. He was 4.1 on his first steer (2nd in the round), 81 on his bronc (tie for 1st) & 10.6 on his calf (4th in the round).

We left home at 2:00 Wednesday afternoon and arrive in Louisville around 8:30 yesterday morning. We were all pretty tired yesterday. Hopefully a good night's sleep will get us off to a good day ;-).

Jenae is hoping to get to go swimming this morning. We are thinking of heading out to Church Hill Downs a little later.
